Why you should become a member of the Institute?

We offer our own grades of membership together with the opportunity to be registered with the Institute of Remote HealthCare. You can gain various membership grades and status through the IRHC.

How do you become a member?

It’s quick and easy way to join us (Entry level to all members is as an Affiliate Member). That way, you can receive all the benefits of membership immediately. You do not have to provide us with personal information ,other than a contact address for communication purposes.However you can also submit an application form for consideration as an Associate or Full member after you have registered as an Affiliate member. Your application form will be assessed by the IRHC Membership Committee and we may contact your referees for confirmation of employment status etc. We can give you professional membership status which may enhance your career opportunities with employers. IRHC members come from a very wide range of clinical disciplines and backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common – they want to be part of the only specialist professional body for Remote HealthCare. IRHC Membership Grades and Membership Application Criteria

Associate Membership?

Are you a qualified Emergency Medical Technician, Nurse, Paramedic, Medic, Doctor, Physician or any related clinical practitioner role?

If you’re qualified in any of these professions and can demonstrate and provide proof of qualification and have experience and a track record of working in remote environments ( note: IRHC interpret “remote environments” in the broadest terms.) the you may be eligible for IRHC Associate membership status.

All grades of IRHC members come from a very wide range of clinical backgrounds. Some are junior or senior grades, but they are all committed to standards, professional development and leadership. If you have the necessary qualifications and experience, why not join them? We can offer you:-
