Why should I be a member of IRHC?

The central aim of the Institute of Remote Health Care is to provide a professional body for those health professionals who are involved in providing health care for those who live and work in places remote from the sophisticated hospital facilities which they may need for their care or survival. This is largely pre-hospital health care though it involves those hospital personnel who are involved in providing advice and training to remote workers by the modern technology of telemedicine.

The IRHC are developing a secure “Registry of Members” which will be used for the purpose of professional quality assurance. In the longer term this register may become an international benchmark and defacto standard for “remote healthcare practitioners”
